About The Course


At the end of the course, participants besides helping their companies meet the MOM requirements will also be familiarized with safety and health legislation, safety and health hazards in the construction industry, how to prevent construction accidents, as well as the implementation of safety management system.


Course Overview:


To familiarize participants on:

WSH Act & Subsidiary Legislation Safety and Health hazards in the Construction Industry How to prevent accidents in Construction Worksites Implementation of Safety and Health Management system


Legal Requirement:

The CSCPM is a mandatory training course for individuals assigned to manage any construction project exceeding $10 m in contract value.

The course would be appropriate for individuals with job titles such as: Project managers, project directors, construction managers, project engineers in the construction industry.

Understanding Workplace Safety and Health legislations WSH (WSH Committees) Regulations 2008 WSH (Construction) Regulations 2007 General Worksite Safety Mechanical Material Handling and Scaffold Excavation, Tunneling Work and Compressed Air Environment Occupational Health An Overview of Risk Management Accident Prevention and Investigation Safety and Health Management System


Target Audience:

Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent or equivalent post to be eligible to attend this course.


Entry Requirements:

Knowledge of the construction industry activities ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 6 and above or equivalence Must be holding the position of Chairman of Safety Committee, Project Manager, Project Engineer,superintendent or equivalent post to be eligible to attend this course.
